The recent announcement coming out of Kokomo Sanitary Pottery further emphasizes the fact that America is going to have to compete in a global economy. Planned economies are products of government intervention and subsequently do what ever it takes to produce. In America open competition primarily determines the economy. The time has come for our government to come up with a way to compete and not sacrifice ideals in a bipartisan endeavor.
