What does anyone think or know about the new check-in or log-in time keeping system the city will implement starting in May? This sounds a lot like the city employees will be working in a factory instead of a municipality. Will everyone be accountable to this new system or only certain people? How is it going to work? Whose idea was it and why is it coming into use in the first place? All the city workers other than union workers are salaried and I can't see how having them on a time clock will possibly save money. It sounds like someone spent yet more funds on a useless system and will now force feed it to the employees. I also heard there will be a half hour lunch. Will that apply to everyone? Will the mayor and his staff clock in and out and will the citizens be able to check this?
