Thread: NIK now on new host...

We moved the forum to a new host server this afternoon, after experiencing a lot of troubles the last few weeks on the old service.

This server is faster, has more capacity, and much more reliable internet connectivity.

Hopefully, this will solve the problems of the site going down or becoming slow on occasion.

We have had some issues with old links to the forum working properly, as well as links from search engines.

Most of these errors should be fixed, but the search engines may take several days before our links there work correctly.

Deep thanks to our users who pointed this problem out to me... especially Baby Boomer.

That may slur your typing speed. Its good to see everything is up and running again.

After recently having problems with two reputable local businesses I'm a little frustrated. It seem like customer service is a thing of the past.

NIK is there some way to create a section where the public can rate local businesses on several points like, job performance, quality of the work done, dependability, promptness, honesty and post a opinion or comment?

This could also be used to rate restaurants, etc. This would help people have a better idea of how dependable local businesses are.

I'm sure there are many good contractors out there for roofing, plumbing, electrical etc. Comments from viewers who have used their services would be helpful to others seeking to hire someone.
