    Default Notice of Forum Maintenance

As many of of members know, we have been planning an upgrade to VBulletin 4.0 (the newest version of our forum software) since October of last year.

The first tier of our upgrade will take place at approximately 3:00 PM Indiana time today.

Because Vbulletin version 4.0 is a completely new product, the upgrade must be performed in stages. As such, there may be times this afternoon (and hopefully not evening) where certain features are temporarily unavailable.

Over the next few days, we will also begin utilizing the all-new features available in version 4.0. This will change the 'look-and-feel' of the forum somewhat, and we would welcome your input as to layouts and functionality.

Thank you to all of our loyal members and readers for your patience in our quest to make NotInKokomo.Com the best forum community in North-Central Indiana.

Well, as some readers might have noticed... our attempts to upgrade did not go according to plan.

In fact, the upgrade didn't 'go' at all. We were off-line for several hours as I tried to get things straightened out and then... finally... restored our forum from backups!

With 10,000 plus files.... that took a while.

I apologize for the snafu... we are in contact with VBulletin to fix the problems so that perhaps an upgrade can occur later in the week.

Thank you again for your patience in our work to constantly improve NotInKokomo.Com.

I'm inclined to believe Grump. By the way... it wasn't MY stimulus money that ran out.. it was hers. All of my Federal Stimulus money is safely invested in NetFlix credits.

In any event, we applied for Emergency Funds and Tim Geithner was more than willing to help us out.

With the assistance of the Obama administration, we were able to 'save or create' somewhere between 0 and 100,000 jobs for the small grant of $11,000,000.

Give your thanks on or before (but not after) April 15 (subject to interest and penalties).

Thank you for your support, and God Bless America .

    NIK:
Thank you for all your work. I really appreciate you providing a place I can pass the winter. Better than gas eh?

By the way.......Will I be able to play the guitar after this upgrade?
