I started this thread on 12/31/08 and since that time it has had 689 posts and 28,225 views. The thread was created in hopes brother officers who are totally fed up with Sheriff Talbert would get motivated and look for a good candidate for the 2010 election.
There have been some excellent points made on this thread and some have used it for personal attacks on potential candidates. Lately the thread has been off topic and a few posters have been speculating rather that posting the truth.
In all fairness to the candidates I have decided to close this thread. I will create a new thread for each candidate that files for Sheriff in January 2010. This will eliminate the guessing game of who will actually run for office.
Take the next few months and educate yourselves about candidates and their background. This is a prestigious office up for grabs and we invite posters to lay ALL the cards on the table about the candidates for posters to see. As always we don't want to drag family's into the ring or release any personal information (home address, e-mail, phone numbers) about the candidates.
A big thanks to everyone who posted in this thread and we look forward to your input in January.
