He was on duty, Friday night at 10:30 pm, 6 other vehicles in the drive. Could one of those million of reasons be a card game?

He's still doing it, he's just being careful now since he was exposed on NIK a year ago. He knows if someone (a boy toy) complains Sheriff Talbert will not put up with it for one second and he would be following Welker to the Merit Board.

Jason, your correct he is still doing it....Go by his love nest (his house) and it looks like a young boy convention. Wait until it gets warm and watch them outside and in his garage playing, its just disgusting! Try living by him if you want your eyes opened.......Maybe the Sheriff will grow some and and tell him that the public see's what this guy is doing and it reflects badly on the SD.

You people need help. I have talked to several of the kids who have hung out with him and have yet to find one that will say anything inappropriate ever goes on. My understanding is that he treats these kids like a father figure, unless you have some kind of proof, shut up and get help.

    Father????
Only if the father believes in violating his child. Whats the deal with the trips, the kids sleeping in his bedroom, in his bed overnight? The two boys caught kissing in a car in front of his house? Father, yea right, sounds more like a personal agenda for his gain.

This isn't anything new to anyone at the Sheriffs Department, KPD or at the school. It was discussed on NIK last year and NIK even posted information about this matter. It isn't a matter of if its going on, its a matter that the person being discussed needs to keep his private life, private and not step outside the law or abuse his authority!

Believe me we have some officers that are doing worse and it's overlooked everyday. Everyone, even officers are entitled to a private life outside the job, as long as it don't reflect badly on their department and the actions are not criminal in nature. The administration can only act when a victim comes forward and complains. Remember the Brubaker incident and how long it took before something was done. Sooner or later these things will all come to light when the wrong person is approached in an inappropriate manner.

If all of you know this for a fact, then why don't YOU be the one to step up to save those kids?
