What is the acceptable distance that KPD can go out in the county? Who's covering them while they're out in the county? Is that the norm & I never noticed it before?
Guess I noticed it today because I was about 5 miles east of 213 & a KPD was going east following a car it looked like. Is that right?

I would say it's probably true cause if you look at the fire dept right now not one of their brass live in the city, Go figure huh

But I meant on duty. Why KPD and not HCSD? That was pretty far out.

what about russiaville 2 ? why his he pulling over people in kokomo? i thought the town of russiaville paid him for the russiaville area only? can someone please explain this?

Because Russiaville 1 has gotten so fat he cant do the job and R2 can run wild.

I guess if you're a police officer, dropping somebody off at the hilton, and somebody blows by you doing, like 70 in a 25 mph zone....you would hafta pull them over, no matter what city your in in Indiana....first time caller, long time listener mr. obvious......

Could also have been a K-9, they are allowed in the county am I not correct? They are Howard county drug task force Im sure allowing then in the county. But I would personally prefer the KPD guys in the county, half your county guys are a bunch of fat butts anyways who are not in shape and probably couldn't chase a turtle.

But my point was.... doesn't that leave the city one man short when he's off almost out of the county? & county has K-9 so what difference would that make? A KPD officer was not in KOKOMO. Just doesn't seem right.

Well I am sure the HCSD that are in the city won't mind. But I'm sure the brass realized this when they made them part of the drug task force. The county is part of their jurisdiction.
