Heres a place to discuss the candidates for Sheriff and find out about their campaign platform.

This is who you should vote for...

I had a chance to meet and talk to Mr. Everling the other day. I like is attitude and the fact he didnt run down the other candidates. His ideas are reasonable and he is a pleasant person.

Well we will all now know who the candidates really are. Today is the last day to file for primary offices. It is now time to really take a look at all the candidates and make a mature and informed decision on who to vote for. So let the games begin!!

If Everling wins will they use tax money to pay for a booster seat for his office????

Friday at Everlings fund raiser he announced the he would use Talbert in his administration if elected. Whe asked why he said Talbert has been a good leader and he liked his style of doing business. Is this good or bad new?

It depends. Marty has been teetering on the brink of falling off the edge into to la-la land for the last 12 months. Everyone knows Everlin and Talbert are cut from the same mold and it's been common knowledge that he would appoint Talbert to a position of authority. Even though Everlin didnt get Talberts endorsement he still runs with him and keeps him informed what the officers and COs are doing. My take on this is he will put Talbert in a hatchet man position to do his dirty work, he will make Shiray his major (a guy with a lot of axes to grind and no administrative experience), he will continue to run down us down at KPD and he will be lost as how to do the job. [/QUOTE] your defending someone who has told several people HE WILL USE MARTY IN SOME CAPACITY. Believe me no ones camp feels threatened by Everlin as a candidate. Everlin is a good reason to vote for either Rogers or Tarah to keep his nasty attitude out of the sherifs office.
