    Default Kings Hawaiian Rolls

1 (18 oz) package yellow cake mix
2 packages Fleischmann's active dry yeast
    2 1/2 cups warm water (105-110 degrees F)
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    5 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
4 Tablespoons melted butter (for tops)

Combine cake mix and yeast. Next, combine water and salt. Add cake mixture to water and salt mixture. Add flour last. Mix well and knead lightly. Let rise 1 hour.

Knead lightly again, pat out and cut for rolls. Place on greased baking sheet or in greased cake pans. Let rise until double.

Bake at 375 degrees F. When brown, brush with melted butter and bake a little longer.

I had something the other day at a friend's house. She called it monkey bread. You tear off a piece and then dunk it in a spinach dip. Oh my!!....I made a pig of myself. It was wonderful.

I guess the bread I ate was not monkey bread. It didn't have that stuff on it.

That sure sounds like the bread I had. Whatever it was it was real tasty.

If you ever want to make it, it's real easy. Buy the bread at the store. LOL. I make the spinach dip that is on the back of the Knorr vegetable soup packet, except I don't care for the water chestnuts, so I substitute chopped red radishes. That way it still has some crunch, and some color, too! I get asked to bring this to family gatherings sometimes.
