    Default Easy BBQ sauce

    Barbecue Sauce

3- green onions chopped fine (optional)
2- TBL. vinegar, white or apple cider
    2- TBL. brown sugar
    1/2 c- water
    3- TBL. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2- tsp. mustard

In a med. sauce pan add ketchup and mustard, blend well. Slowly add water stirring while adding ( I use a whisk). Add brown sugar, onion, Worcestershire sauce and then onions. Simmer on low for 20-30 min, stirring every 2-3 min. Let sit 20 min.before using or refrigerate for future use. Freezes very well

This is a mild sauce which complements chicken, ribs and pork. This can also be used for the base sauce for shredded BBQ beef or pork sandwiches or as a dipping sauce.. To spice it up you can add red pepper flakes to taste.

    Enjoy, Cookie Monster

Thank you Cookie Monster! How much ketchup does the recipe call for?

Mmmmmm, this sounds good on some chicken on the grill. If it ever warms up.
