1/2 package bacon
2 bunches broccoli
1/2 cup red onion
1/2 cup raisins
4 ounces sunflower kernels
1 cup mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1/4 cup light brown sugar
3 Tablespoons wine vinegar
Fry bacon until crisp and break into small pieces.
Cut broccoli and red onion into bite-sized pieces. Peel broccoli stems and quarter before slicing.
Combine bacon, broccoli, raisins, and sunflower nuts.
Combine brown sugar, mayonnaise, wine vinegar, and onion powder. Mix with broccoli mixture. Cool in refrigerator over night to blend flavors.
