Have him run for sheriff so he can keep inadiquate law enforcement alive.

Yes , I know of him. No I don't know the secrets. But have been trying to get it "uncovered" to no avail though.

With GPS available I think this is a possible solution to getting him back on patrol.

GPS will help him find his way around the county but what tool will you use to get him to take his calls and do his job?

Over the last several months I cant believe the number of deputies and KPD who said they don't want Roberson on their departments, they don't trust him or want to work with him. The only reason Matt made the drug task force is because no one else wanted the position. Maybe they need to create a new position just for him, hummmmm how about checking the county for abandon and junk cars?

Has anyone ever considered that maybe people who don't, or can't, do their job should just be fired ??? If he's this bad, how'd he get the job in the first place ?
More nepotism, cronyism ? Hell of a system we have..........

Valid point Old Buick! However both KPD and HCSD have systems built in to protect officers due to constantly changing administrators. The systems were designed to keep new administrators from coming in and terminating officer without just cause and replacing them with political supporters, etc. The only officers that have no protection are the rookies, who can be terminated with just documented facts about their job performance.

There are several officers on both departments who should have never been hired to begin with, much less retained as responsible protectors of our community. It takes a act of God to terminate a officer these days. Just look back at the events, demotions and suspensions at HCSD and KPD over the last few years. (with the exception of Davis and Kirk, which was politically motivated) and you see the system originally set in place has failed to weed out the inadequate officers.

I suppose that's one way of looking at it..... I always figured the powers-to-be way back when, established a system to protect their friends & relatives long after local politics changed. That's why we still have so many Daily's still working for the city. And every mayor has done the same thing. Didn't McKillip hire a police officer that no one wanted, because he was related to Dodd ? Like I've said before, nothing changes, except the names of the players..........
