Default Gas prices

The high cost of gas is hitting close to home. The Tiption council is considering allowing golf carts on public streets.

If they do, make sure they only allow those with a driver's LICENSE drive on the streets. If they have a driver's permit, they should have an adult with a license with them.

If this should occur in Kokomo, there will be need for a wheel tax placed on the golf carts to pay for the use of the road.

That for sure. There needs to be some sort of wheel tax put on all the stupid mopeds and scooters running around too.

See all the creative ideas to get money into the city coffers but all the mayor knows is annexation.

Great idea, not! To collect the so called moped tax Kokomo would hire 3 people ( 1 to work, 2- to watch) @105K per year, now toss in insurance, paid vacations and a take home car fo at least one person and as usual the city would be in the hole.

I don't think so, the annexation is going to get the city out of the hole. Just ask the mayor.
