I don't need to change the law...It Already exists!
Bicycles are not to be riden on the sidewalks downtown!
In suburbs it's ok for the kids to ride on sidewalks, plenty of space and time to see whats coming..However, downtown.. businesses and city departments have many seniors and children walking in and out of doors not expecting to be slamed to the concrete by some idiot going 25mph on a sideWALK...SideWALKS are supposed to be for people to safely WALK out of harms way of moving vehicles...The only reason I tell people to sue..is because NO ONE ENFORCES the law that is already in place concerning this...So if anyone gets mowed down and injured..You'll just tell them to let it go? Sounds like you are The Chip eating no brains boy...Check any REAL city and you'll see they have NO BIKES on their sideWALKS...Ask any attorney what they would do for someone struck and injured on a sidewalk by a bike or skateboard......Check out our City Of Kokomo economy..and even you will see Kokomo doesn't need to pay out $$$$$$ for a law suit..That an injured person would certainly win......The only lazy ones are those who won't speak up before this accident waiting to happen does...
