I didn't keep it. I just looked it up again. Great thing about the web. I don't have to keep stuff.

    Mckillip did exactly that.

I found this article during my blogging days last summer.
Why did Mckillip waste money on round abouts, and putting all of those lamps and flowers on sycamore? Why didn't they save that money for a rainy day?

Why do they keep spending money during rainy days?

Didn't Mckillip spend less than he was budgeted by goodnight and the council? Sounds like there is plenty of blame to go around. Only some of thess people are hell bent on making the same mistakes over and over again.

I looked over the article, and all I got from it was Mckillip bragging about himself. Why didn't he get that job? What new industries did he bring to Kokomo? The man couldn't even win in the primary.

I read it as a description of his philosphy of Economic Development. I actually agreed with it. You do to, what with all the talk of diverisfication etc... too bad you hated him.

What did he do? Force you to use autodeposit? Like I said, I'm new to Kokomo Politics so I am still trying to catch up.

I never said I hated him. I agree Kokomo should have tried to get other industries years ago, but the auto industry was booming and nobody expected to drop off. Things did drop off and now everyone is blaming the current mayor for mistakes of previous ones.

I'm not blaming him for the situation, I am criticizing the handling of matters moving forward. I think that is the tone from most posters here who are talking about issues.

It is leadership, action, and transparency that the people want. We don't need someone who's been in elected office for years blaming the mayors of years past.

I'm not saying he is blaming past mayors. I read post on here where people are blaming him for things that have not been taken care off in the past. People are getting mad cause he is going to italy, but didn't mckillip go to portugal on tax payer money. people are complaining on here cause he is making cuts, cause of budget problems. I really don't think he has been around long enough to run the city out of money. Isn't some of the budget problems cause of a accounting error from Mckillips time?

You think you have all the answers for some reason. What makes you such the expert? Just what Kokomo needs another back seat quarterback running off their mouth. I read you so called blog and now your frantic posting on this forum. Since you think you are so important maybe you need to run for office on the state or local level, the public would eat you alive with your "I think Im special attitude".
