Just my opinion but I would think that two struggling auto industries would be looking to cut back as much as passable just to survive. How much retooling is going to be required to produce cars the consumer will buy? Gas prices in Europe have been above $5.00 for quit some time now so why hasn't Fiat sold more cars there?

Think Gas is High? Try Europe - TIME

You never argue my points. They must be right. lol

I don't think I am special, I never wanted to care about Kokomo Politics... It was brought to me.

And to be honest with you, I go in public every day. People seem to think I am ok.

Folks, Kokomo needs some new leadership.

While these numbers have spiraled out of control, all the mayor can do is fight about how he is going to add to the unemployment problem by cutting firemen. His plan for economic development is to start taxing his neighbors.

There needs to be real change in the mayor's office and on the Council. Does anyone there understand the needs for REAL economic development? ...The kind that creates jobs.

Even if there was a change, what kinda jobs do you think would come to kokomo? Its been called one of the fastest dying cities in the U.S.

Is this a tacit approval of business as usual on your part?

I don't know what types of jobs would come to Kokomo.
I do know what kind are leaving: All kinds.

To not do anything guarantees more of the same.

So what jobs did the previuos mayors bring to kokomo? You just seem to be jumping all over this mayor. What kinda jobs would be created during this economy? From what i'm reading not many companies are creating jobs right now.

The towns who begin now in the work of Economic Development will be the ones prepared to take action on the leading edge of the upturn.

I agree, but you seem to be avoiding the question. What jobs have the past 2 mayors brought to kokomo? Shouldn't they have been working on this problem?

If they weren't, they should have been. And the Council too. No one gets of the hook.

That being said... I cannot anwer the question the way you want me too. I was only invited into the realm of analyzing Kokomo Politics by Mayor Goodnight.

The question is simple what jobs did they bring? Not hard to answer.
