The question should be "what is next."

you should go apply for a yes man job with the city administration if you can't grasp that.

Until you start talking about what is next, you have no credibility, poster.

As General Motors remakes themselves, the City of Kokomo should develop a close partnership with the UAW 292, Howard County, IU Kokomo and Ivy Tech, and the citizens of Kokomo where each brings key items to the table:

City of Kokomo, Howard County: Lay it all on the line. Spend any EDIT money available in the form of tax breaks or other incentives to attract an expanded GM presence here. We have a strong workforce and lots of quality people looking for work at no fault of thier own.
How about Delphi producing solarpanel assemblies instead use plant 9
UAW: Step forward and show how you are ready to work with GM to bring more jobs to Kokomo. Come to the table with the kind of consessions GM would like to see, but that you can live with also. The union already worked out concessions

Local Higher-Ed: Come to the table ready to hear what GM needs in the form of Human Resources and develop degree programs to support its operations here. Make the adjustments quickly to market needs. Align yourselves with the program.

Citizens of Kokomo: Understand that in order to keep from shifting the tax burden onto yourselves, you will have to deal with a reduction in non-essential services. Do it in good faith that you or your neighbor or a family member may get a job out of it.

There... there's a start. Now, mayor... you figure the rest out. Good luck developing some people skills to lead a partnership like that.
We need something other than auto jobs

That being said... I cannot anwer the question the way you want me too. I was only invited into the realm of analyzing Kokomo Politics by Mayor Goodnight.
LOL I think I have found the real reason why jobs are not flocking to Kokomo. Just read this website and you can see why.

Everyone on here is a monday morning quarterback that knows the answers but yet won't get out in public to make our community better.

You have people like Craig Dunn and Rick Ward who are completely worthless for their parties and pushing this city in the wrong direction. You have incompetent community leaders who want to blame everything on one person when it takes a community effort to move this place in the right direction. You have all these old white men politicians who think they are something important and go around a dying town acting like they are part of an aristocracy, when in reality they are peon lowlifes who pretend to have some sort of power.

We're just citizens who offer suggestions. When did that become wrong? January 2008?

Take them and run with them.
