Question KPD's current investigation and a lot of unanswered questions

Not knowing all the facts or players with the current investigation I am able to look at it with a fresh perspective as a outsider. Trying to draw a conclusion based on the media, past posts and community scuttle leaves one scratching their head in total bewilderment.

My question is why did the administration and officers who had knowledge of the alleged wrong doing at the first report / complaint fail to pursue the investigation?

My second question is I have never heard a straight up answer about why Chief Baker would possess evidence of alleged corruption and then take it to his residence. Doesn't the Chief have a secure spot somewhere in city hall to lock up such items?

Public service department heads don't like in house investigations because of the ramifications. A true leader would look at the department and do what is necessary to make it work at top efficiency. On the other hand if the individual is involved, they will do what ever is necessary to hide facts.

I agree with you Army however there is still this mystical shroud over the issue and there is a lot of unanswered questions and missing pieces. Unfortunately all this lack of communication is causing the general public to formulate their own opinions and lose faith in KPD and the city administration..

Lets hope the Federal investigators can get this cleared up soon so KPD and city goverment can move on.

If I were involved in this situation, I would leak information to a slanted news media, to keep the heat off of me. This would keep the general population stirred up. Fortunately the FBI are professional investigaters and don't leak any info until an arrest is made. Then the only statement given is what the individual is charged with.

Yup, it's so over.
That explains why the US Marshal's were in Kokomo today delivering the Grand Jury Supoenas for June 19th.
Oh...opps, that can't be...I keep forgetting it's over.

That was not related to this. It was for something else.

This situation is far from over. There still two officers on paid suspension. So if you have a life why don't you pay their salaries so the rest of the tax payers won't have to.
