I wonder what the ACLU could do with this?

Apparently not.

There will now be a Board of Works hearing which promises plenty of entertainment for those of us following this story.

At this point, I would expect Mayor Goodnight's Board of Works to make attempts at squelching the case of these two officers. That will be a costly mistake and will, with certainty, lead to more Court proceedings and expensive lawsuits the City can ill afford.

In the next few days... we are going to post the final part of NIK's "A Question of Justice" series.

If you'd like to have a better understand of what's occurring at the KPD concerning these two officers, I'd encourage you to read all the posts...

The next one will be online soon.

Different Millers. There are a zillion MM's in this area.

For a issue and problem that is clearly important nothing has happened with it. It makes one wonder if the whole situation with the exception of MM and the CI was just blow out of shape to cover other issues. We have seen nothing is going come out of MM fling so is this now a accepted method of getting information out of CI?

You are totally out of the ball park here poster. Davis and Kirk actually took nothing to the FBI, they went to . The packet crap came about because some people in the administration didn't want certain names that were in that packet to re-surface during this new criminal investigation.

Read KPD policy, nobody broke any written chain of command on this case. Both officers involved according to KPD policy had every right and the authority to do everything they did. I've read it, I know what it says. The policy, (as it is) was followed. But, there is no policy in KPD's procedures for dealing with criminal accusations against the chief. Davis and Kirk didn't make those allegations, Miller did.

Think it through, if you have the ability to be open minded at all you might actually get it.
ok, not quite clear, if corruption was during McKillip admin. Why doesnt Goodnight release the information about the FBI for assistance with a criminal case on a local businessman? Are we waiting for after elections?

No mention of the Special Board of Works hearing for Davis and Kirk on September 5th. Is the city afraid to post this out of fear there people will show up to support them?
If the city is so "rightous" as Chief Baker likes to say, they ought to not only invite the public buy encourage the public to attend so they can see the city's version of the "truth."
This should prove to be a total kangaroo court session.

It was posted in the tribune when Kirk and Davis said they wanted to to the next step. If people were that concerned they would have wrote it down.
