Thread: Wyman is a Fraud

It's nice to see the truth is coming out and that a reporter (Turner) told Dave the story was going to run. Little by little things are proving to be true that have been on this forum and if you investigate I would believe the rest is true too. Yes, it may have run its course, but no one likes it when a reporter smudges the truth. As far as the KP not liking nepotism and it is one of their pet peeves. You just opened a can or worms, because your buddy Goodnight is guilty. We will all be waiting to read it in a upcoming edition, since you do not like this practice.

I noticed Mr. Turner, who said it was not politically motivated, turned and slammed Trine on an issue that had nothing to do with this conversation on this forum, which proves to me they were out to get him and was trying to put him in a bad light, period.

Can anyone refute the very first post as being factual or not. Thats all I want to know. Is this factual about him costing howard county revenue and supporting annexation?

I, too, found that odd.

I went back and the read the article Mr. Turner linked.

It made me wonder why the Perspective was so awfully concerned with Trine, when in fact the Howard County Prosecutor should be answering questions about why he (supposedly an attorney) asked Dave Trine to (in the Perspective's eyes) break the law.

Why would the Chief law enforcement officer in Howard County do such a thing? Why didn't Mr. Turner badger Jim Fleming until he answered some questions.

The fact Turner would mention this somewhat suspect piece of prior reporting as evidence of Don Wilson's outrage (while simultaneously saying Don Wilson had no part in the present article) seems disingenuous and misguided.

For nearly a year, our forum has hosted a continuously-evolving thread contentiously titled "Wyman is a Fraud". There have been many statements made, and recently they've become even more prolific and fervent.

Our readers have asked me to contact you and ask for your input regarding the content of our online discussion.

I don't think posters like you even know what a Republican is or a Democrat for that matter. I am quite sure you have never voted.

This is typical Wyman trying to control. He is aware of this site, but yet makes you invite him. He and Shelly have been on here and responded before. It is highly unlikely he will come on. He cannot control you or what appears here. At the KP he does have some control, and he will continue to spend big to keep that control. Case in point, when he tried to decieve the public about his degree. The KP ran a small article on page 1009, and tried to minimize the importance. This is a character issue, and is a big deal. Certainly Trines son working for the county should not be on page 1.

Say what you want about this website but I for one am glad that we have a place to discuss our opinions. I think it is great that we have the reporters from the KP engaging in these discussions and I give them credit for trying to justify their stories. But there arguments are just plain wrong. There is no way they can justify writing the story about Dave Trine's son working part time at Howard Haven. There was no other motivation than to harm Trine politically. I think it is obvious that the people in this website believe it to be wrong and if you're going to criticize a couple of county office holders for hiring their sons to work part-time then you have to look at the city as well. Hopefully the KP reporters who are monitoring this site will follow up on this. Pat and Tim you want so bad to be taken seriously as good reporters but that will never happen until you get off of this vendetta against the county. Like clockwork every month you devote most of your editorials to criticize county elected officeholders over things most people consider trivial. Mr. Turner the front page story on the sheriff this week was one of the worst stories I have ever read in my life. Not only was it hard to follow it was an example of your single handed attempt to impose your own opinions as a real news story. I may not be a fan of our sheriff but this type of story makes you look worse than him. Save your editorial comments for the editorial page and print the facts.
