Starting last year the City of Kokomo does NOT pay for the fireworks. So the firemen can get of that rant.

For what it's worth, I'm not an elected official nor do I profess great ideas and then try to spend public money seeing them come to fruition.

While I don't know Mr. Wyman... I have observed that he does... in fact... give a lot of time and money to this Community on a volunteer basis. That's admirable and deserves Kokomo's thanks!

I have also observed that many, many of the folks I speak with in Kokomo have a disdain for the man. The thread probably chronicles quite a lot of what they believe....

Personally, I think some local politicians are enamored with Mr. Wyman purely on the basis that he was egotistical enough to spend huge amounts of his own (and supporter) money seeking what appeared to be an office not worth the investment required.

The guy lost me over his seemingly-shady mail order College degree he proudly strutted around during the campaign. Since being elected, I've seen things he's done which I wouldn't agree with.

I wish Mr. Wyman the best of luck, in his business and in government. If he feels any of this thread is incorrect or needs to be censored, he can contact us (as many have) at NotinKokomo@NotinKokomo.Com. ... or, he can simply reply here on the forum...

Goodnight is just as big a phony as Wyman. When he thought Wyman could be a threat to him during his campaign, he told some that he had not so flattering pictures to hold over Wyman's head. Greg should be careful what he threatens others with, because there is much more for him to be worried about. He is a master with threats, when he needs to look in the mirror. Wonder why Wyman is not going on the trip to Italy? Thought it was ironic that the KT showed a picture of the CEO of Fiat addressing a group in Detroit. Doesn't it make more sense to carpool to Detroit rather than spend tax dollars to go on a vacation to Italy? And whoever is selling the $2000 per person cost is a joke, a $1000 flight doesn't include hotels, food, transportation, interperter, etc. We are not stupid or should I say there are a lot of stupid people who voted for these jokers.

He's a real estate agent. The foundation and building block for all of his bs. Gluttons like him and track builders ruined the country. Two of Paul's own subdivisions with his buddy, Abby Place and that abhorration on Dixon Road near the Creek were part of this doing.

Ya, you tell them, you loudmouth loser.
I think you should change you name to "We'veHeardEnough".
Track homes go back a long ways you. Heard if Indian Heights? Oh of course you have, you live out there. Get a life! Why don't you step up and take over the community projects that Paul Wyman champions and use your time and energy to do something good and positive instead tearing down good & honest hard working people.

Yes he is! He was cetainly funny when he got booted off the tax board after he got caught meeting Ralph Reddersdorf. He tried to sway Mr. Reddersdorf in supporting the west side annexation.

The only reason Paul volunteers for anything is for Paul. He only does it to cover his motives and other things he does. "honest", he, he.

    Folks,

There were several posts here that have been deleted.

Specifically, they were off-topic and therefore in violation of our terms of service.

Some posters have chastised me for not removing these posts sooner; however, I've had a busy weekend and just now got around to cleaning up a bit.

Criticizing Public officials in an open forum in entirely appropriate, but registering derogatory deviations of their name(s) is not. Please refrain from this in the future. User names referencing public officials in a derogatory manner will be deleted.

    Thanks,

    NIK
