Goodnight has contributed to the unemployment statistics in the city. He gives huge raised to his political appointees upon taking office, yet lays off 16 firefighters. The council needs to delete some of these positions from the budget and cut wages, because his people are being paid close to and over $70,000 a year. The paper claimed goodnight made $79,000 and we all know that is not true. McKillip made more than that. He is using tax dollars for a vacation to Italy, when the Fiat CEO is in Detroit and it is already a done deal. He is also taking his wife, so who is paying her way? You know it is not him. Maybe is is paying it out of his "donkey" account. The council needs to cut some of his "cushy" positions and cut wages of these uneducated people who are making these gross amounts of money paid by taxpayers. Goodnight needs to cut all wages of his administration and the council needs to see that it is done.
